About

Built for the moment after an update breaks checkout.

Website is Up is a project by MaXsoft Technologies. It watches websites the way a customer uses them, and when something breaks, it tells you what changed just before.

Why it exists

Why it exists

The server said 200 OK. The checkout had been broken for six hours.

Most monitoring asks one question: did the server answer? It is the wrong question for a shop, a booking site or a members area. Those break in ways a server never notices: a payment form that no longer loads, a button pushed off the screen on phones, a sign in that loops back to itself.

And they usually break right after something changed. A plugin update, a new theme version, a core release. Finding that change is most of the work of fixing it.

So Website is Up does both halves. It walks through your sites like a customer, and it keeps track of what changed on them, so the first alert already says where to look.

What we hold to

Four rules the product is built on.

Name the cause, not only the symptom

An alert that says a site is down sends somebody looking. One that says which update broke checkout, and when, sends them straight to the fix.

Never alert on our own guess

A journey is tried before it is kept, a failure is confirmed before anyone hears about it, and a cause is only named when the evidence brackets it.

Plain words over dashboards

What broke, what changed just before, and what we checked. Status pages and reports say the same in words a client understands.

Your sites, your data

Test logins are encrypted and only ever typed into your own verified site. Nothing about the sites we watch is published unless you choose to.
